Misuratore di spessore ad ultrasuoni ad eco multiplo.

La Cygnus Instruments offre due misuratori di spessore montabili su ROV. Queste unità sono state progettate per essere montate sulla maggior parte dei tipi di ROV Work Class dotati di manipolatore.

La versione per basso fondale è testata fino a 1000 m. mentre la versione per alto fondale è testata per 3000m. Il software dedicato visualizza ora, data e misura di spessore rilevata e dà la possibilità di memorizzare tutte queste informazioni.

Two models available:    - Shallow water version pressure tested to 1000 m depth    - Deep water version pressure tested to 3000 m depth 5 m of probe cable for routing around most ROVs Power supply taken from the ROV Only one twisted pair is required to transfer the data to the surface The probe does not need to touch the surface under test, as measurements can be taken through 5 mm of water Readings are not influenced by the probe orientation Dedicated software displays the time, date and thickness measurements on a computer at the surface. Measurements can be stored or logged.
